It may seem a bit cruel to some of the more passionate animal rights activists among us, but this Korean restaurant Sik Gaek (with locations in Flushing and Woodside) allows you to feast upon the flesh of live sea creatures, who slowly die in your mouth as evidenced by this video:
The restaurant has rave reviews on Yelp. Advice is to go with a large group of people, because the portions are apparently huge. Besides, how much live octopus can one person eat? This place also serves a variety of hot pots, and Anthony Bourdain has even been by to check it out:
The restaurant is located at 49-11 Roosevelt Ave. in Woodside, and 161-29 Crocheron Ave. in Flushing.
