An insider's tour of Rego Park in the NYDN

The NY Daily News put together a nice slideshow of the world of Rego Park according to insider (a Rego Park lifer) and comedian Liam McEneaney. We loved seeing a photo of one of the homes in The Crescents, where the streets are shaped like, well, crescents – half circles nested together, one after the other. It’s quite striking when you look at it on a map. Also great to see Cherburechnaya, a fantastic Bukharan Jewish restaurant (they serve Uzbeki food there, and it’s delicious – try the morkovcha/carrot salad) and the atmospheric back patio at Istanbul restaurant both mentioned.
