You’ve heard of Brokelyn, but now there’s an option for “Broke-Queens,” as a new food truck in the Rockaways promises to fill you up with “seafood with a twist” for $6.

The Fisherman’s Dog food truck launched in August, the brainchild of Jared Adler and Terence McNicholas, whose father has had a bait shop on Beach Channel Drive in the Rockaways since the 1970s. The summer beach fare seems perfect for the season, with standout items like a deep-fried cod loin on a bed of arugula and drizzled with tangy dill sauce.
If you’re into it, there’s also a hot dog topped with peanut butter and bacon.
