Long Island City is about to get a partner in the skies once Jet Blue lights up its 25-feet-tall sign in the area. It will shine a bright white light onto the area at night.

The giant sign installment marks the company moving its headquarters from Forest Hills to the historic Brewster Building, which once housed Buffalo Brewster airplanes (GMAP). Jet Blue is now one of the largest employers in LIC, with 1,000 employees in the neighborhood.
