Fashion’s Night Out Astoria Pop-Up Market Event – Fashion’s Night Out is four years old this year, and throughout NYC there are numerous events celebrating one of the city’s fashion highlights. In recognition of this worldwide fashion event, a joint project by Astoria Market and Design For You – with some support from Vogue – will set up shop at Veslo. This collective of artisan jewelers and crafters will showcase some gorgeously designed items. And there will be complimentary drinks for those of you that RSVP to email@example.com.

Public Trust: Opening Reception – Continue the weekend’s stylishness with an opening reception for this interactive art exhibition. LIC’s Flux Factory – a venerable art organization helping artists get discovered since 1994 – has commissioned some seasoned artists “to critique, celebrate, augment, and intervene in the institutions that generate, package, and deliver culture in New York City.” Expect a fiery blend of both energetic performances and confident art installations critiquing certain social institutions.
