QNYC event highlights - two for Saturday, one sweet, one spooky

Today we have a couple of events for your perusal. They couldn’t be more different, either.

Sweet Treats – Stop by Astoria’s own SITE (on 34th Ave near 36th Street) on the occasion of Sweetest Day for sweets, champagne, and a James & Lily Trunk show. You’ll also get 20% all items in the store during the party, which goes from 1-5pm.

Hellgate Horror – This spooky event – which is only ever announced by flyers mysteriously posted around the neighborhood – starts at 6:30pm tonight and continues for a couple of hours. The tour starts at a house on 21st Street in Astoria (GMAP), very near the Hell Gate Bridge. It is recommended that you please use your discretion for young children. Rain date is October 27.
