Forget the egg nog and fruit cake, Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Nutcracker is one of the most popular Christmas traditions. The Queens Flushing Library will provide the space in its lower level aditorium, and the Ohman School of Ballet will provide the talent and costumes while also performing such dances as “Marzipan,” “The Sugarplum Fairy,” “Waltz of the Flowers” and “Mechanical Soldier.” Come early and be prepared to feel inspired.
