opendoor restaurant is opening its doors soon in LIC

A while back we told you about opendoor, a restaurant that was slated to open in October, but obviously that didn’t happen. A post over at LIC Spot indicates they will open soon – maybe even in a few weeks. About the restaurant, owner Nick Guitart says this:

“It’s a neighborhood saloon. American small plates, like tapas. We have cooks here, not chefs. In other words, we want our customers to be comfortable.”

According to the post, there will be room for about 98 people, though they recently got approval to up that to 104.
