Paperwork submitted for a 10 story apartment building at 47-22 Hunter Street in LIC

This week paperwork was filed with the Department of Buildings for a new building at 47-22 Hunter Street in Long Island City (GMAP). It looks like it will be a 12,499 square foot 10 story mixed use building with 12 apartments (a small portion of the building is classified as commercial, at 654 square feet). Someone called JMS Hunter Street LLC is involved but there is no real information about them available online.

This building will be located just up the street from the Gotham Center building at the corner of Queens Plaza South and Jackson Ave – home to the Department of Health and a new Chickpea restaurant (this elevates the eating options around Queens Plaza South). It’s also just up the street from 43-25 Hunter Street, which will be home to 1,000 apartments.
