instagram-tos-changes-outrage

Seems like yesterday’s intertubes were full of opinion pieces, analysis, and outrage over Instagram’s changes in their Terms of Service (TOS), which go into effect on January 16, 2013. After much discussion all day by the news outlets and in user comments, Instagram says they will further adjust their TOS – seemed the biggest problem people had with the new TOS is that Instagram could sell user photos for advertising purposes without letting them know about it, but that (apparently) won’t be the case anymore. Also the thing about ads not being identified as ads also sticks in some people’s craw.

So tell us, will you stay with Instagram or will you abandon them for greener pastures – Flickr, perhaps? They have a nicely revamped photo app. There’s always Hipstamatic, too. We’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Leave us a comment here or via twitter at @queensnycity.
