Beautiful Arris Lofts home in LIC featured on WSJ

We caught sight of this beautiful 3 bed/3 bath home in LIC’s Arris Lofts and couldn’t stop clicking through the entire slideshow! Kudos to the owners, Mila and John Ovrutsky, for creating such a lovely abode.

Before moving to LIC, the Ovrutskys – she’s a nurse and he worked in sales and marketing for HBO – lived in a rental apartment in Manhattan’s Murray Hill. Some of the things they love about their home are the size of the apartments, and the views: “I was really overwhelmed with how impressive [the apartments] were, with the size, the windows. I have a three-borough view of Manhattan, midtown, downtown Brooklyn and Queens.” Mr. Ovrutsky also enjoys riding his bicycle around Long Island City, a diverse and interesting neighborhood he loves.

The Ovrutskys purchased their apartment in 2007 for a little over $1.5 million.
