This morning we took a look at Time Out New York’s Most stylish New Yorkers 2013: New York fashion guide, and were curious to see if they gave Queens any love. Lo and behold, they did… two people made their list and they were not 20-something folks in Astoria or LIC, but in Woodside and Forest Hills!

The two most stylish persons include Marc Williamson, 42, Woodside; co-owner of JJ Hat Center and Pork Pie Hatters (a partnership with JJ Hat Center).

JJ Hat Center in Manhattan has been in business since 1911, and supplies dapper hats like fedoras, porkpies, caps and more. There are plenty of hats on display for your perusal. Prices start at $35 (wool-blend cap). Pork Pie Hatters offers styles like newsboy caps, fedoras and derbies made of fabrics like leather, suede and tweed. They’ve also collaborated with Borsalino of Italy, and for custom jobs, they’ll tailor the hat just for you.

And Julius Debruhl Lewis, “107”, Forest Hills; owner of Julius Debruhl Lewis Design Studio Inc.
