Congress on Your Corner events with Grace Meng start in Middle Village

The good folks at Patch reported on an upcoming outreach program by US Representative Grace Meng (D-Flushing) called “Congress on Your Corner,” it will be a chance for neighbors to voice their concerns, discuss community issues on their mind, or just stop by and meet Representative Meng.

The first one of these events be at the Middle Village Library (72-31 Metropolitan Avenue – GMAP)., from 4:30-6:30pm, March 27. Rep. Meng feels strongly about events such as these, where constituents can meet their representatives in government. She said, “It is critical for members of Congress to ensure that they are accessible to their constituents and meeting with the people I am privileged to represent is a top priority of mine.”

Additional future “Congress on Your Corner” events with Representative Meng will be held in Bayside, Auburndale, Flushing, Forest Hills, Fresh Meadows, Kew Gardens and Rego Park.
