El Panadero - fascinating film about making pan dulce in Jackson Heights

Thanks to the Queens County Market we learned about this really interesting short film about making pan dulce, the popular Mexican pastry. We love the look of the giant Hobart mixer. Around 2:20 the baker starts to crack eggs and that is quite a scene – who knew you could crack eggs that fast? The pastries in the film can be found at Panaderia Coatzingo in Jackson Heights (76-11 Roosevelt Ave – GMAP)
