While perusing Jackson Heights Life, a local message board, we learned that the next concert by the Jackson Heights Orchestra is coming up in about a week and a half, on Wednesday, March 13. Here are more details:

The JH Orchestra is getting ready for their second concert. They had almost 150 in the audience at the first concert and the orchestra has grown since then.

Come join them on March 13th at the United Methodist Community Church (GMAP). The concert will start at 7:30 PM and feature local baritone John Petrozino. They will perform works by Piccinni, Donizetti, Wagner, local composer James Cohn, Faure, and Gounod. A reception will follow in the church’s social hall.

There is a suggested donation of $10, and $5 for seniors and students. The JHO continues under the banner of the JHBG.

And here is a video from their last (which was their first!) performance.
