The glass towers along the western waterfront aren’t just attracting Manhattanites. The Queens Courier reports that a number of Mets have decided to move in Long Island City. The tenants include Mike Baxter, Justin Turner, John Buck and Jonathan Niese. There’s a historic precedent for Mets players grouping up: Members of the 1986 team, including stars Darryl Strawberry and Dwight Gooden, lived together in Port Washington, notes the Courier.
