Closing Bell: “I Live Here”

languages

An Astoria resident is seeking to build a mural with the phrase “I live here” translated to include the over 160 languages that are spoken in the Queens borough, the Daily News reports. Annabel Short, who hails from Great Britain, launched a blog for the project, which is meant to capture the borough’s diversity. Short is still seeking African languages, Burmese, Mandarin, Croatian, Hungarian and Gaelic for the wall, and she also needs a location for it.
