The NYC Department of Housing and Development is now accepting applications for 108 affordable rentals currently under construction at 23-10 41st Avenue in Long Island City. The studio, one-, and two-bedroom units are priced between $1,103 and $2,186 a month, with income restrictions between $46,360 and $137,440. (See all the rental guidelines and income restrictions here.) Residents of Queens Community Board One receive preference for 50 percent of the units and New Yorkers displaced by Hurricane Sandy will receive preference for 25 percent of the units. The application deadline is August 26. This particular development was part of the city’s Housing Asset Renewal Program. The program is designed to convert stalled condo sites into affordable housing. GMAP

  1. This is an old lottery and the apartments have been filled.

When Brownstoner has articles about apartment lotteries, please read them carefully as they will have a link to where you can get an application. Brownstoner will not send you an application so it is pointless to ask them for one. They only supply information.
