Hunters Point Ferry Terminal Almost Done

There’s nothing better on a beautiful sunny day than taking in the coastline of Brooklyn and Queens from the East River Ferry, which is what we did one afternoon last week. At the end of our journey, we rolled our bike off the ferry at the Hunters Point Ferry Terminal, which is in the late stages of construction. Right now it feels a bit remote, a bit of a walk from the glassy luxury towers to the north. But with the massive Bloomberg-driven affordable housing complex beginning to be built just a stone’s throw away, ferry will eventually feel integrated with the neighborhood at large.
