Kids Occupational Therapy Gym Opens in Long Island City

    Sensory City recently opened in an industrial loft building on 44th Road in Long Island City. The 16 foot-tall loft space is equipped with a kids wonderland of amusements including a 12 foot tall climbing wall, a ball pit, swings, zip lines, monkey bars and a two story castle among others. Co-owner Nicole Gioino is an occupational therapist and she works with a range of children from those who are asymptomatic as well as those with developmental delays and autism. The space will offer play sessions and be available for birthday parties.
