LIC Waterfront Condo Sells for $950 a Foot

Long Island City continues to flirt with the magic $1,000 a square foot sales number. We reported last month that a unit at The Bindery on 11th Street recently fetched $1,060. A recent deal for a ninth-floor three-bedroom at 4630 Center Boulevard (aka The View at East Coast) didn’t get quite that high, but at $1,420,000 for a 1,492-square-foot pad, it’s still a pretty penny. It looks like a steal, though, considering that the same unit on the fifth floor is now on the market asking $1,525,000! Where does it end? GMAP
