Sorry, meat lovers: the M. Wells “meat temple” will not debut until the winter. The new incarnation of the popular restaurant, priced out of its first Long Island City location, was originally set to open at 43-15 Crescent Street this summer. The owners are renovating an old auto body shop and there have been holdups along the way, according to the LIC Post. (The photo we snapped above shows the space in July — the under construction lot is now a patio.) Once open, the 80-seat restaurant will serve meat and poultry. The space will even feature a concrete trough to hold live trout for eating. The M. Wells owners are still running a dinette in MoMA PS1 from Thursday to Monday, which will remain in operation after the new restaurant opens. GMAP
