Closing Bell: Fall Exhibition Opens at Socrates Sculpture Park This Weekend

This Sunday, Socrates Sculpture Park debuts its brand new fall exhibition. Titled “EAF13: 2013 Emerging Artist Fellowship Exhibition,” it will showcase 15 new pieces from the park’s 2013 Emerging Artists Fellows. According to Socrates, “Local and global subjects are presented along side one another, with topics such as the history, ecology, and panorama of the park confronting broader topics of international politics, militarization, and culture.” You can see images of the sculptures right here. All the work will be on display until March 31st. The opening ceremony begins at 2 pm, with a participatory obstacle challenge from 4 pm to 5pm and a performance from 5 pm to 5:30 pm.
