A rendering of a new ten-story building has been posted on the construction fence at 42-77 Hunter Street, between 43rd Avenue and 42nd Road, in Long Island City. The developer filed paperwork for the development in December of last year and the DOB issued a new building permit in August. According to the permit, the project will be a “mixed use building with commercial space on the first floor and 14 dwelling units above.” It’ll have a total of 11,845 square feet of residential space and 654 square feet of commercial space. Construction should wrap next August. After the jump, check out a photo of the construction site.
