The Maximilian Starts Leasing in LIC

LIC’s got a brand new rental building: The Maximilian at 5-11 47th Avenue, just a block and a half from the waterfront. The 12-story development, designed by SLCE Architects, has 188 apartments with studio, one-, and two-bedroom layouts. Studios start at $1,975, one bedrooms at $2,530 and two bedrooms at $3,490. (There are 17 listings currently up on Streeteasy, with prices ranging from $2,560 to $3,940 a month.) Here’s what to expect from the interiors, via a press release: “Polished hard wood floors, modern kitchens with GE stainless steel appliances, and Italian made cabinetry.” Many units have private terraces and the building shares a landscaped roof deck with barbecue areas and an outdoor theater.
