We are well into the second week of the U.S. Open, and we want to know where Queens residents have ventured so far in the vicinity of Flushing Meadows. Is the food at the stadium any good, or are you better off venturing into Flushing? We know there are some Ecuadorian and Peruvian food carts right outside the stadium near the soccer field, and there are plenty of amazing restaurants to pick from in Flushing. When it comes to post-tennis drinking, we like Mingle Beer House and the Irish dive Kelly’s Pub. And we hear some nearby businesses are offering shopping deals during the tournament — the Restoration Hardware Outlet at the Shops at SkyView Center is offering $25 on every $100 until Monday.
