26-16 jackson-avenue-103013

We have all the juicy details on 26-16 Jackson Avenue, the 14-story, 98-unit development that recently topped off in Long Island City. According to GF55 Partners, the building architects, this’ll be an 80 percent market rate, 20 percent affordable rental development. Although a sign on the construction fence stated an ETA of next fall, work should wrap in summer 2014. Once finished, it will be a doorman building with a bike room, laundry room, gym and roof terrace for all tenants. The building will also have a ground floor commercial space, which could be suitable for a restaurant. There aren’t any official renderings but it looks like scaffolding’s about to come down soon anyway. We’ll let you know when the facade is out in the open…
