15-Story Build Planned for Former Strip Club Site in Rego Park

DNAinfo reports that Atlas Projects Inc. plans to build a 15-story residential development at the former site of the Goldfingers strip club, 92-77 Queens Boulevard. The club closed down back in 1999 after a number of complaints from residents and local pols. The developers picked up the parcel for $40,000,000. While there are no plans solidified yet, the development will likely be around 105,000 square feet, with about 100 apartments and as much as two stories of retail space. The former strip club building (now vacant) and the nearby car wash will be demolished soon.

This development site is just two blocks away from the 314-unit residential structure planned atop the Rego Park shopping mall.
