More Details on the Flushing Hotel Going up on College Point Boulevard
The 12-story, 100-room hotel at 39-16 College Point Boulevard — we checked it out last week — has a name and a website! It’ll be called the Parc Hotel and it’s expected to open in February of 2014. (You can keep track of the construction progress on the Parc Hotel Facebook page.) A teaser says…
The 12-story, 100-room hotel at 39-16 College Point Boulevard — we checked it out last week — has a name and a website! It’ll be called the Parc Hotel and it’s expected to open in February of 2014. (You can keep track of the construction progress on the Parc Hotel Facebook page.) A teaser says this about the coming development: “Ultra-modern design and striking features throughout the public space and guest rooms, combined with strong attention to detail and customer service brings a level of affluence to the downtown Flushing area.” The hotel will have floor to ceiling windows, valet parking, complimentary breakfast and a rooftop bar. No windows in the front facade of the building?
The “Parc” Hotel… really? They couldn’t be creative in picking their name? The condominium next to them (across Roosevelt) is called Sky View “Parc”.
Architecture is nice and all, quite modern I might add, but, there are no windows in the front facade of the building. I’m no expert but that style seems questionable.
