Yesterday the major clothing retailer Nordstrom Rack confirmed it would open an outlet in a 39,000-square-foot, two-level space at the SkyView Center. (The business was close to signing a lease this December.) According to a press release published by the Wall Street Journal, the store will be ready by the fall of 2014. The project developer is Onex Real Estate Partners.

This is the first Nordstrom Rack for Queens, and the fourth in New York City. It’ll join a number of big box stores already at SkyView, including Target, Old Navy, Best Buy and Marshall’s.
