The Bao Shoppe Gets Ready on Steinway Street

Signage is up at 30-66 Steinway Street, and it looks like a sandwich shop is coming for Astoria! According to Facebook, the joint will serve “Bao’s inspired by Asian & American flavors.” Bao is a small Asian steamed bun stuffed with different flavors, and it looks like the Bao Shoppe will offer barbecue and vegetarian options, among others.
