A massive portfolio of rental buildings in Kew Gardens is now on the market. Crain’s reports that Hudson Realty Capital packaged up 53 buildings with 1,270 apartments; the properties could bring in as much as $250,000,000. According to Crain’s, this portfolio is one of the largest to hit the market in decades for the neighborhood. Bob Knakal, who will handle sales, says this about investment opportunities in Queens: “This portfolio definitely reflects a growing interest in the boroughs. Interest has picked up significantly in the boroughs over the past year so and that will continue in 2014.”
