The Court Square Blog spotted serious construction action at four different Rockrose properties on Jackson Avenue. All four buildings — 26-21, 26-09, 26-11 and 26-25 Jackson Avenue — will undergo interior demolition and big overhauls to become retail space. So far, we don’t have any renderings or concrete plans regarding the future retail development. There’s already a listing up by Rockrose for “renovated retail space now available in storefronts of well-preserved traditional buildings along Jackson Avenue.” Anybody have any idea what may be moving into these spaces? Or what you’d like to see in these spaces? Hit up the tipline

  1. I presume that Rockrose tried to buy up the block and didn’t succeed. Otherwise, they would have torn down the whole thing. This way, with at least the facades of the buildings intact, it gives some character to the new modern and impersonal structure.
