A Closing Sale at Nook n' Crannie in Astoria

Nook n’ Crannie is closing up shop at 29-18 Ditmars Boulevard, in Astoria. Boro Mag reports that this is the final week of the closing sale, and the business is offering discounts up to 50 percent off. (All the proceeds actually benefit Betel of America, a nonprofit organization that provides a residential program for drug addicts and alcoholics.) Nook n’ Crannie sells a large variety of antiques, vintage and modern home decor, and mid-century furniture. A call to the store revealed that they will be relocating, but not within New York City — Nook n’ Crannie plans to move upstate.
