New Rendering for the Aloft Hotel at 27-45 Jackson Avenue

The Court Square Blog snapped the above photo of a rendering posted at the Aloft Hotel construction site, 27-45 Jackson Avenue off of 42nd Road. The design of the 22-story building changed somewhat since we posted a rendering by Gene Kaufman last August. Regardless, this’ll stick out like a sore thumb on a block of more modest buildings.

Aloft’s estimated time of arrival in LIC is spring of 2016. Demolition on the site just wrapped.
