Weird Facade for the Hotel Vetiver Under Construction in LIC

Yikes. Check out the facade of the Hotel Vetiver, now topped off at 38-28 27th Street in Long Island City. Balconies, beams, windows — there’s a little bit of everything going on here. This is the second Hotel Vetiver location for the neighborhood, rising 12 stories with 116 rooms. The facade, which you can see more photos of after the jump, is the work of DeFonseca Architects. No word on the hotel’s opening date.
