Privatizing Manhattan Beach? What next!!! What collossal nerve and extremely racist.
Thank heavens that suggestion was
answered with a huge “thumbs down”!
Re: privatizing Manhattan Beach: “bordering on racism”? This is one of the most racist things I have seen in a long time. If you want a private beach, move to Jersey and pay those taxes–and, before anyone says it, the beaches at Breezy and Seagate are not private. The residents may not want you to know that, but the waterfront is public property.
The NYT article on the sub-prime mortgage sphere fall-out got the description of what a CDO *is* (a security, not a fund) completely wrong -surprisingly ignorant coverage for the NY Times.
