Bergen Tile is so funny. They have this great location, tons of people who need flooring and they have resolved themselves to carry crap and to house in that huge showroom a selection that would fit in a place an eighth of the size. It is so weird when people are in business and have no vision… and then to say that they are the #1 showroom. The place on Ninth Street fits so much into that shoebox of a space. Informally I would make the claim that Bergen actually has the smallest selection in New York City.
What am I missing here? Why after all these years is the DOH and Parks Dept hassling the Red Hook Vendors. They have been there for years and obviously food must be pretty good because I would think if people got sick from it , there wouldnt be customers lining up for the food. What gives?
I wouldn’t be surprised. Hipsters rarely put breaks on their single fixed gear bikes, and when they do, they put them on the front wheel. Very silly imo.
Do you think that the high number of fixed gear bikes in W’burg and Greenpoint has anything to do with these accidents? Or, to be more specific, people that can barely ride a mountain bike trying to manage a track bike on city streets . . .
