  1. I am writing to join the others who have already voiced their displeasure with statements like, “I hope this landlord gets assraped.” I consider most of The What’s rhetoric just part of the shtick but find this beyond the pale.

  2. Actually, the owner of the salon says that this closing has “pushed me to do greater things”, which hardly sounds negative. Plus, if she can afford to buy a brownstone in Bed-Stuy, she’s doing much better than most of us.

As for Letitia James, you can forget about her doing anything that will make a difference in the real world. Her style is to yell and raise her fist, but rarely do her efforts translate into bona fide progress.

  3. It’s greedy mother fuckers. These store fronts will be empty for a long time while the asshole landlord seeks a sucker to pay high rent!!!

If you take a look on Fulton St. there have been a few store fronts empty for 1a long time. I hope this landlord gets assraped.

Here fucktards lookie here! Layoffs coming at Citi and ML! I thought it’s different here LMFAO!!!

Someday this war is gonna end……..

  4. Hate to see small businesses like the hair salon close. I believe the postal store on Myrtle is closing because of high rent and many others in the past 10 years have faced the same fate. Hopefully Ald. James’ proposition or one like it can resolve this problem. (I know my opinion won’t be a big hit on this site.)
