Question of the day: who reads QueensNYC anyway?

One of our favorite web analytics sites is Quantcast. Its free and you can check out many of your favorite web sites, including QueensNYC, to see how many people visit a site — and also what the site’s overall demographics looks like. You can also see these numbers in comparison to the Internet’s average.

QNYC’s readers are evenly split by gender.. and this is consistent with internet average..

QNYC’s readers mostly fall in the 25-44 age range, which is more concentrated than the internet average.

QNYC’s readers seem to be doing pretty well financially..

QNYC’s readership has been increasing too, including growing mobile readership. The bump in the middle of this chart was during Hurricane Sandy. The dark blue area on top is mobile readers and lower lighter area is desktop.
