Fedders knows no bounds…This new development at 36th Street just east of Fourth Avenue is nearing completion. While it ain’t much to look at, we gather that it will offer some much-needed family-sized apartments to the Sunset Park mix. It also has the added benefit of rear views over Greenwood Cemetery. The tipster who sent this in says (whose parents are buying in the building) says you can pick up a three-bedroom in the $500,000-range. Can anyone confirm? GMAP P*Shark DOB

  1. Well I for one am spreading the news!
I know lots of folks who really are desperate for a three bedroom…
Thank you for sharing, and please forgive my “balcony phobia”! 🙂
Send a pic when the exterior is completed… would love to see.
The view from the back balconies of Greenwood must be so lovely from that location!
It’s so exciting to move into a new pretty place! Welcome to the neighborhood!

  2. Actually, as the tipster, there are balconies in front and back. The front balconies (pictured), obviously, are not yet finished. Just thought people would be interested, given how tough it is to find 3-bedrooms.

  3. Well, I guess, balconies aside, a three
bedroom apartment for $500,000 is a good deal for a larger family… bet it’s pretty inside, and the view of Greenwood is really lovely… I share the Greenwood view and it’s gorgeous in all seasons.
Would love to see pix when the front of the building is completed!
Happy new home to new owners!

  4. The balconies usually end of cluttered with bikes, sport equip., whatever and look even worse when the buildings are occupied. Also, is it legal to build them out over the sidewalk like that. Looks dangerous.

  5. 2:50 here – not a developer but a renter, actually, who lives in a building with both these ghastly fedders sleeves and balconies. obviously, there are some downsides to this: me and my neighbors have to cry ourselves to sleep at night because our unsightly homes disturb our fellow burghers. on the other hand, when we want to we can sit outside our apartments and when it’s too hot for that, we can go inside and turn on our ac.
