Google Glass has made quite a splash on the scene in the past week. It’s basically a device that resembles eyeglasses, that sits on your head – like eyeglasses – and allows you to use the technology hands-free and interact with it using natural language voice commands (“OK Glass, take a picture!” And the photo is taken).

Time Out New York has taken it upon itself to come up with some additional elements that would really appeal to New Yorkers, and it’s pretty funny stuff. We thought the EmpanadaVision would be particularly good in Queens, since empanadas are ubiquitous (and delicious) in the borough.

And what NYC commuter wouldn’t like something like this to help them figure out which is the best car to get on:

The whole slideshow is pretty funny and worth your time. Enjoy!

And, for a better idea of how Google Glass works, check out this video by Joshua Topolsky and TheVerge. They – along with the Glass team at Google – can explain the idea behind it and how it works better than anyone.
