It is prime market season in Brooklyn, when makers and entrepreneurs showcase their handmade goods for shoppers eager to snap up gifts. We’ve rounded up seven indoor markets that will let you stay warm while spending a festive December weekend perusing locally made goods and enjoying food, music and activities.

Holiday Handmade Cavalcade
Brooklyn Historical Society, 128 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights
December 7 and 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mix history and shopping with the Holiday Handmade Cavalcade at the Brooklyn Historical Society. The market of locally made gifts showcases the work of members of the NY Handmade Collective. For info on all the makers that will be offering up their handmade goods, visit their Facebook page.

FAD Market
City Point, 445 Albee Square West, Downtown Brooklyn
December 7, 8, 14 and 15 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Invisible Dog Art Center, 51 Bergen Street, Boerum Hill
December 7, 8, 14, 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
FAD Market — the name is an acronym for fashion, art and design — features handmade items, including clothing, jewelry and art. This year over 200 designers and makers will participate in one of the two-weekend markets in two locations. For a full list of vendors participating each weekend visit their website.

Bust Craftacular
Industry City, 268 36th Street, Sunset Park
December 7 and 8 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
It’s the 13th annual Bust Craftacular and this year there will be more than 150 women-owned companies participating in the celebration of DIY culture. While getting in some holiday shopping, attendees can also take classes with demonstrations and workshops ranging from screen printing to meditation. For more details, check out their website.

Greenpointers Holiday Market
Greenpoint Loft, 67 West Street, 5th floor, Greenpoint
December 8 from 1 to 7 p.m.
This year the annual event is pitched as The Nutcracker Holiday Market, with activities and decor taking a nod from the holiday classic. There will be more than 60 local vendors, music, food and what they promise is the twist on a “magical Land of Sweets.” For more info and to RSVP, check out the info on their website.

Brooklyn Holiday Bazaar
501 Union Street, Gowanus
December 8 and 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For the seventh year, local makers with handmade wares and delectable treats will be gathering to show off their craftsmanship and celebrate the season. In addition to over 60 vendors, there will be music and family-friendly activities. You can check out the full vendor list online.

Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn
Brooklyn Expo Center, 72 Noble Street, Greenpoint
December 21 and 22, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Renegade Craft Fair brings the work of designers from across the country to Brooklyn. Open for just one weekend, the fair will have plenty of goods for sale from over 230 makers as well as music and food. The full list of vendors is not yet available, but check out the website for updates.

Brooklyn Flea
25 Kent Avenue, 8th Floor, Williamsburg
Winter Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Head inside for the winter version of the Brooklyn Flea. You can expect handmade items for gift giving as well as vintage clothing, rugs and home decor. Smorgasburg will be bringing the food indoors as well for the winter weekend markets. For more info, check out the Brooklyn Flea’s website.
