For the four Sundays starting November 30, we’ll be running an indoor holiday market at the Masonic Temple directly across the street from the Brooklyn Flea, which itself runs through December 21. In addition to getting to see the inside of the Temple, which is pretty darn cool, the Holiday Market (which will also be getting a boost from our media partner Time Out NY) will feature gift items from the likes of Layla, Jezebel Stationery and Mast Brothers Chocolate. (Check out the complete list of vendors here.) So come brave the wintry weather at The Flea and then warm up inside at the Holiday Market.

  1. The complaint is not about the cold, it is about screwing over half your vendors and then pretending you had nothing to do with it. It is about rewarding late comers and telling your loyal people it is good for them, all so you can make maximum dollar. It ain’t cool. I see this and I am just a customer of the flea. But whatevs, I’ll shop outside. I don’t give pickles and chocolate for christmas presents anyway.

  2. So is there a possibility the flea market vendors can operate inside as well? Then again, from Germany to France to all around New York, flea market vendors occur outdoors during winter months with heaters and hot cider and nobody complains.

  3. It is nice Senor worked so hard ( everyone works hard). It is somewhat strange and yet once again not surprising from this guy, that he should leave his tried and true vendors out in that windy cold, when they are local regulars as well. Loyalty counts for nothing these days. Thanks for leaving them all out in the cold, literally and figuratively. Business as usual. Sure he will see this as a whiny complaint too.

  4. Well, finally. I had heard the Masonic Temple was a possibility. Bravo! It’s getting awfully cold outdoors! We ran off chilled to the bone after a quick run around the flea market this past Sunday. It was very windy.
