Miss Williamsburg Founders to Open Restaurant in Former Ridgewood Brewery

Back in 1999, before glassy towers lined the waterfront, Massimiliano Bartoli and Pilar Rigon opened the Miss Williamsburg diner on Kent Avenue in Williamsburg. The popular spot closed in 2007 after a fire but the duo is planning a second act in Queens’ answer to Williamsburg, Ridgewood. According to Wyckoff Heights, the local blog covering Bushwick and Ridgewood, Bartoli and Rigon have applied for a liquor license at 1563 Decatur Street under the name “Houdini.” No word yet on the menu but the old brewery building seems like a great start to us.
