Straphangers love the Q - best subway line of 2012

In case you missed it, the Straphangers organization voted the Q the best line in the subway system! This was revealed in the Straphangers Campaign 15th annual State of the Subways report. Denizens of Astoria and LIC are familiar with the line, since it runs from Ditmars Blvd to Queensboro Plaza in Western Queens. Gene Russianoff, attorney for Straphangers, stated, “Riders on the Q have much more reliable cars, frequent service, subway car cleanliness and car announcements.” This is the best the Q line has performed since 2001. Yet another reason to live in Queens.
