Among other things, César Millán has a TV show, three best-selling books, a magazine, a foundation, and two canine psychology centers. “The Dog Whisperer” helps nurture healthy, happy relationships between humans and their pooches, preaching that owners should be pack leaders with “calm-assertive” energy. In this show, which is presented with North Shore Animal League America and the Kupferberg Center for the Arts, Millán will demonstrate his philosophies and methods with the help of his trusty, four-legged best friend, Junior, and a few other dogs. As usual, he will show that better man-pet communication is usually dependent on a transformation in the human companion first.
