This 8th floor condo at LIC’s The Powerhouse, 50-09 2nd Street, recently hit the market. It’s really something: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, 1,626 interior square feet and 1,010 exterior square feet. Oh yeah, and it’s asking $3,288,000. Everything looks sleek and modern, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. And that private outdoor space is downright drool-worthy. It’ll be interesting to see what it ultimately sells for.

This large studio is up for rent at the PowerHouse condo building in LIC. For a studio it is well laid out, with an open kitchen, a tucked-away bedroom, and a walk-in closet. All in all, the space is about 800 square feet. It’s still asking a pretty penny: $2,750 a month, to be precise. Do you think it’ll rent at that price?

This is a very nice, very sleek two-bedroom/two-bathroom condo at the Powerhouse in Long Island City. It looks like this unit doesn’t have the large, arched windows — one of our favorite features of the building — but it does have a grand total of 1,263 square feet. What do you think? Would you pay the ask of $1,150,000 for this apartment?

Here are the properties we’ve featured on QueensNYC this week – two condos and a co-op in Astoria, LIC, and Forest Hills, all under $750K.

2-17 51st Ave. #319, Long Island City, NY, 11101 (GMAP) – This 1 bed/1 bath condo in The Powerhouse is priced at $670,000. The sleek kitchen has upscale, stainless steel appliances. There are hardwood floors throughout and lots of closet space. The building has a fitness center, roof garden, and a full service spa. It is very close to the East River Ferry dock and about 3 long blocks to the Vernon-Jackson stop, which is close to shops, services, and restaurants.

The other community that took a real hit is Long Island City, specifically the Hunters Point section of the neighborhood.

Folks in this neighborhood were put under a mandatory evacuation on Saturday. They are in Zone A.

Throughout Monday we saw the flooding arrive and take over Gantry Plaza State Park. This photo from Jimmy Van Bramer was particularly striking. Click to enlarge.
