A notice for inspection has arrived after a neighbor issued a complaint and now a homeowner is concerned that their wood patio project isn’t to code. They already have a legal metal deck but have started covering the concrete pad in the rear yard with wood decking. It is six feet away from the house but what other issues should they know about using wood decking in a rear yard.
